Whitney Williams
Whitney Williams is a junior in the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program at Spelman College, where she is majoring in Political Science. Whitney has a passion for youth engagement in the political process and spreading awareness about important political issues. She is heavily involved in various leadership and community organizations, both on and off-campus. She volunteers with the SpelReads Program, where she mentors students to help improve the literacy of elementary and middle school students. She also served as Vice President of the Freshman Class Council and is a shadow leader for Sparkhouse Ventures. In addition to her work at Spelman, Whitney leads an internship program focused on recruiting college student volunteers to guide high school students through the college application process. This past summer Whitney had the opportunity to intern with JP Morgan through the Advancing Black Pathways Program.
In her free time, Whitney enjoys watching historical documentaries, spending time with family and friends, and dining at Zaxby’s.
